According to the French weekly newspaper Jeune Afrique, Bola Tinubu’s de facto Chief of Staff is former African American diplomat Brian L. Browne who has been mentoring Nigeria’s President Elect for nearly ten years. The ex-American Diplomat is responsible for planning Tinubu’s schedule and determines who is worthy of working in the Lagos godfather’s team.
Browne, who holds a Master’s Degree from the National War College in Washington DC vets Tinubu’s speeches, formulates his policies and lives in Tinubu’s house and has an office in both the Lagos and Abuja mansions.
Brian L. Browne was the Lagos based Consul General of the United States from July 2004 to July 2007, he is the author a book titled “Scratch the Sky” has been writing columns for The Nation Newspaper Online between 2013 and 2021.
Browne is a staunch confidante of Nigeria’s President Elect,he connected Tinubu with notable diplomats and government officials in the US and is an adviser and Middle Man of Tinubu till date.
